  • November 25, 2024 - GPBRS Meeting at Mounts Botanical Garden, 7:30 pm. Program: “Report from the American Rose Society's National Convention in Rhode Island” with ARS Master Consulting Rosarian, Mike Becker. Followed by a Q&A time with Mike!

  • December 5, 2024 - GPBRS Holiday Party at Mounts Botanical Garden, Time: 6:30 pm. Potluck with Baked Ham provided by GPBRS. Everyone else bring sides, desserts. Games, raffles, food and holiday cheer! (No regular meeting due to holiday.)

  • January 27, 2025 - GPBRS Meeting at Mounts Botanical Garden, 7:30 pm. Program: “Preparing Your Roses to Show” with ARS Show Judges, Mike Becker and Bill Langford.

  • February 8, 2025 - GPBRS ROSE SHOW "The Season of Love and Roses" at Mounts Botanical Garden, during the Mounts Winter Plant Sale. More info coming.

  • February 8 and 9, 2025 - Winter Plant Sale at Mounts Botanical Garden, Admission: Adults $20, Senior, Military or College Students is $18. Saturday: open to public 9 am – 4 pm; Sunday: open to public 9 am to 3 pm. Winter Sale Info.

    The ARS Garden Guide lists all gardens that subscribe to the Reciprocal Admissions Program (RAP) — indicated with an asterisk* — and brief entries for many significant rose gardens, plus a limited number of nursery gardens that are open to the public.

    Show your ARS membership card to gain free or reduced-cost admission to RAP gardens, in most cases. However, family members will need their own membership cards. Phone ahead to confirm card benefits, or check a garden’s website for details about hours, dates, etc. Estate garden card privileges may be restricted in particular.

    FA indicates Free Admission, FP means Free Parking. Ninety-mile exclusion enforced means your ARS card cannot be used if you live within a 90 mile radius of the garden. If a garden has a gift shop, ask if discounts are available with your card. With nursery gardens always call ahead to arrange an appointment.
